Polyamorous / ENM
I care deeply about supporting the community of ethically non-monogamous people. I know it can be difficult to find a therapist who doesn’t pathologise your relationships.
You might be looking for therapy because you’re struggling in one or more of your relationships. You may be dealing with jealousy or insecurity, finding it difficult to balance multiple important relationships, or wanting to communicate better with the people you care about.
Or you might be coming to therapy for reasons that have very little to do with being polyamorous, but want a therapist who won’t judge you for your relationship style.
You may be struggling with anxiety, trauma, identity, difficult past experiences or patterns in your relationships that you want to understand more deeply.
Whatever has brought you to therapy, you probably don’t want to spend your time explaining or defending how your relationships work.

Your relationships don’t need to be the problem
Polyamorous and non-monogamous relationships can involve complex relationship dynamics, but that doesn’t mean polyamory itself is the cause of the difficulties you’re experiencing.
You might be navigating jealousy or insecurity, trying to balance the needs of different relationships, or working through communication challenges. You may also be deciding who you feel comfortable being open with about your relationships and where you need to keep parts of your life private.
Sometimes the challenges are simply the same relationship challenges many people experience, but they’re happening within a relationship structure that isn’t always well understood by therapists or the wider community.
I understand polyamory and non-traditional relationship structures, so you don’t need to educate me about how your relationships work before we can start talking about what’s actually happening for you.
Understanding your relationships without judgement
Relationships are an important part of the work I do.
Therapy can be a place to explore what happens for you within your relationships, understand the patterns that keep repeating, and look at how your past experiences may be affecting the way you relate to the people in your life today.
You can come into therapy with me knowing that your relationships won’t be judged or treated as something that needs to be changed.

The focus is on you and what you want from therapy
That might be understanding your needs, improving communication, understanding how past experiences might be showing up in your relationships or feeling more confident navigating conflict.
You don’t need to justify the way you choose to have relationships. We can focus on the reason you came to therapy in the first place.
Thinking about starting therapy?
If you’re thinking about starting therapy, you’re welcome to get in touch.

You can ask any questions you have, learn a little more about my approach, or book an appointment if you feel ready to get started. If you’d prefer to speak first, you can also request a free 15-minute initial conversation to briefly talk about what you’re looking for and whether I might be the right therapist for you.
